Islandmagee is a peninsula formed by the Larne Lough: this appendix of land is like a piece of heaven between Northern Ireland and Scotland. Besides featuring beautiful beaches and cliffs, the northern point of Islandmagee offers one of the most enchanting beaches of the region – Brown’s Bay Beach – from where you can walk up to Skernaghan Point. From here you can enjoy a ridiculously beautiful scenery. In a clear day like today, we could admire the Scottish coast at the other end of the sea.

To feel the sun and fresh air made me feel good. The colors, the gentle breeze, and the surroundings were just too beautiful not to keep walking. My cold is still hanging there, with its miserable symptoms, but this… this was totally worth seeing.
